The Google Chrome team is still trying to find a bug that has been in Chrome for over 6 months now.

Google Chrome has had an annoying little bug for over six months now and the Google team is still trying to find it. Let’s hope they catch it soon.

When it comes to bug fixing the Google team seems on top of everything but this time there seems to be a bug that perplexes the Google team (a bookmark bar bug). Try moving a bookmark in the bookmark bar and in a second or so it’s back to where it came from… This bug doesn’t exist in the bookmark manager so you would think it would be easy to fix but the coding for the bar is different and this little bug is good at hiding.

Maybe Petr Mitrichev the Russian super programmer could help out with this one ^^

If you have similar problems send in a report through Chrome and let’s hope the Google team finds an answer soon.

Click on the spanner icon at the top right of Google Chrome > Tools > Report an issue…

Google Chrome is broken

There are too many extension buttons showing. Can’t there be an auto hide and mouse over to show them? I know I can hide them one by one but that isn’t useful and doesn’t solve the problem. The icons stop the window being able to be made small.

Also fix the bookmark manager please. I think my sync date is corrupt. The bookmarks don’t move properly. Or maybe the problem is bigger. Is Chrome broken?

It is really difficult to organize bookmarks in Chrome. Every time we move something a bit the whole tree closes.

New hidden camera behind screens

The camera will be behind a screen with image that can be on or off. It is between pixels of the screen or can be shown when the screen becomes clear. It is like an image on a lens that can be turned off.

Article: The iPad3 and iPad4 might be released in 2012 to compete with Android Ice Cream Sandwich and Windows 8 Phones

The “iPad 4″, as those sources have dubbed it, will stick with the 9.7-inch display size – and, presumably, the higher resolution panel of the iPad 3 – but will pair it with “much upgraded hardware specifications and integrated applications.” They’re designed to better compete with Windows 8 tablets expected in Q3 this year, as well as the new legion of Ice Cream Sandwich Android slates.

Apple’s relatively moderate changes to the iPad 3, the sources indicate, will allow the company to do the unthinkable: push out a higher resolution display while simultaneously lowering the price. In fact, Apple is said to be planning to knock $100 off the iPad 3, bringing the entry-level model to $399 and ratcheting up the pressure on its already struggling rivals.

Still, while this all sounds well and good, it’s definitely not the first time we’ve heard talk of a pair of iPads in a single year. Apple was tipped to be planning the same thing for 2011, launching the iPad 2 in Q1 and then following up with an HD-screen version later on. Those intentions were reportedly scuppered after issues securing sufficient 2048 x 1536 displays and with providing sufficient backlighting to the pixel-dense panels without making the slate fat.

As always, the rumors are sparse on details, and should be taken with more than the recommended daily dosage of salt. Still, Apple’s investment into the supply chain has already proved its worth, allowing the company to deliver expensive components like aluminum casings and IPS displays while keeping prices competitive, and squeezing suppliers a little more to shave $100 off the iPad 3 isn’t beyond the realm of possibility. A 32GB iPad 2 costs Apple $337 to build and retails at $599, for instance, and those BoM estimates were from back in early 2011.

What remains to be seen is exactly how the “much upgraded hardware” for the fourth-gen iPad – undoubtedly already in development – pans out. That could see the debut of the Apple A6 chipset, itself believed to be ready for primetime in 2012, boosting speed and efficiency of the tablet, along with a new, significant iteration of iOS.

The iPad 3 won’t be released until the 3rd quarter of 2012 but the iPad 2s (speed) will be here soon.

The 3rd-generation iPad has a faster CPU and the screen is also higher resolution, compared to the iPad 2 (2nd-generation). More details soon.

Article: Release Date and Review of the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV(4)

Looks like the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV(4) will be announced in October [1] along with a new pro printer.

It is going to shoot about 12 FPS and be about 28 MP with the new digic VI(6) system. It is also rumored as having Dual Pixel AF III, advanced AF technology, anti-flicker technology, crop mode, and an ISO range of 100-204800.

Autofocus

Dual Pixel AF III: 61 cross points and auto focus assist light

Lens Compatibility

All Canon EOS EF lenses should work. Including older lenses from as far back as the 1980s.

Old manual focus FD lenses or earlier won’t work.

What I would like to see in this new digital camera:

50 MP

8K video

Easy to use hue/color adjustment settings.

Lots of fun filters: Miniature, pop colors, toy camera, etc. Also the ability to make and load our own.

USB Type C

Wifi and GPS built in

Wireless charging from their new dock

Ezo Wolf – El Lobo

The Ezo Wolf is Gone for Good: A few people I’ve met in Susukino swear these wolves still hang around in the back alleys of Susukino, Sapporo, but it’s usually after a few beers or tequilas, while sitting on a bar stool or at the counter when they seem to appear out of nowhere… Better watch out ;)

* The northern Japanese island of Hokkaido, as well as Sakhalin, the Kuril islands, the Kamchatka Peninsula, and the Iturup and Kunashir islands, used to be where you could find the Hokkaido wolf (Canis lupus hattai, formerly known as Canis lupus rex), also known as the Ezo wolf.

The Ezo wolf was typically grey in color with slightly reddish brown and/or black markings on its body. It was also significantly larger than the wolves found on Honshu probably because of the harsh weather, climate of the area and larger pray like the red deer it used to eat. The Ezo wolf descended from Siberian wolves from the Asian mainland, and the Hokkaido subspecies retained a size closer to their large ancestors compared to the wolves found on Honshu.

2012: Closing Sale: Unfortunately the Ezo Wolf bar was with us only for a short time.

2011-09-20th: Looks like the Ezo wolf is back. There is a Tex Mex themed international bar called El Lobo (エル・ロボ) in Susukino. The address is South 5 West 4, Susukino, Chuou-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan (札幌市中央区ススキノ南5条西4丁目9-9 入口南向き). This izakaya/restaurant in Susukino doesn’t have a table charge and lots of people are saying the food is nice. :)  011-211-6919. I haven’t been there yet but will try and check it out sometime next week.

How to make your WordPress 404 page work in Internet Explorer 5, 6, 7, 8, & 9

WordPress 404 Error Pages in IE 5, 6, 7, 8, & 9

When you use WordPress and try and open a page that doesn’t exist in internet Explorer 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9, the 404 error page doesn’t display like in other browsers.

If you also have this problem just follow the simple instructions below, to get your 404 error page working.

Open your 404.php with a text editor or your usual program. It is usually in the template folder of the theme you are using, and just add these 2 lines of code, before everything else at the top of the opened file, then save it and upload the file.

<!--?php ob_start(); ?-->
<!--?php header("HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found"); ?-->

Your 404 error page should be working perfectly now in IE5, IE6, IE7, IE8 and IE9.
